Students in the Environmental Science room working at laptops

Trout in the Classroom (TIC) is a program that provides students with the learning experience of "raising" and studying trout from eggs to fingerlings. Environmental Science students are in the process of preparing a cold water aquarium to host trout eggs.

Students will prepare and maintain the aquarium and filters, monitor water quality, study stream habitat, understand the ecosystem connectivity, and release the trout in the spring.
