After extensive community input and consideration, the Falls Church City School Board voted in December 2023 to shift all school start and end times for the 2024-25 school year. The change affects all FCCPS schools' start times, dismissal times, and bell schedules. Please review the times below:
Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School & Meridian High School (Secondary Campus)
8:30 a.m. - 3:10 p.m. (Early Release Wednesday dismissal: 12:30 p.m.)
Oak Street Elementary and Mt. Daniel Elementary
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Early Release Wednesday dismissal: 1:15 p.m.)
Jessie Thackrey Preschool
8:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. There will no longer be early release on Wednesdays.
