Schedules
Student schedules for the 2026-2027 school year will be available in PowerSchool beginning Monday, August 17, at 3:30 p.m.

After schedules are released, students and families who wish to request a schedule change should complete the Meridian Course Change Request Form. Requests will be reviewed by the student's school counselor and counseling administration using the same process that was followed during course request season last spring.

At this time, schedule changes will only be considered for the following reasons:

  • Changes to an IB Diploma Programme (DP) or IB Career-related Programme (CP) plan

  • Changes needed to meet Virginia Standard or Advanced Studies Diploma requirements

  • Correction of a course request error from the spring course selection process

Please note that requests to change core academic courses or elective courses will be reviewed based on seat availability and alignment with a student's graduation requirements and academic program. Requests will be considered but cannot be guaranteed for the 2026-2027 school year.

To ensure a fair and equitable scheduling process for all students, the school counseling team cannot accommodate requests based on teacher preference, class period (block) preference, or placement with preferred friends or peers.

Bus Routes

The Transportation Department will announce Bus Routes on the fccps.org website by 5:00 p.m. on  Friday, August 14, 2026.

School Supplies

Meridian School Supply lists will be provided by teachers on the first day of class. If purchasing school supplies is a financial hardship for your family, assistance is available. Please reach out confidentially to school social worker Samantha Daniels danielss@fccps.org.

See you soon, Mustangs!
